One man’s journey through the planning and execution of perhaps the most elaborate and creative marriage proposal in recent history. Those jumbo-tron engagements just won’t do anymore guys, the bar has been raised!
We were attending a wedding of a good friend and his bride. My husband was in the wedding party while I was not but I kept being mistaken for a member of the wedding party. Of course! I thought, since my husband was the best man. Chasing my two year old daughter, I didn’t give it much thought but I was wearing a new dress from Target and my only concern was keeping it and my toddler’s clothes presentable until after the photos. It wasn’t until the bride’s party came out that I realized we all had the same dress. At least the bride had sided with frugality and reusable re-fashion! If only they’d let my husband wear a suit instead of a tux… then the frugal fashion trend would have been a great hit.
