Wedding Bands and Engagement Rings Inspired by Disney Princesses

Posted by: Denise In: Engagement

(Platinum engagement ring inspired by Disney’s Belle from “Beauty and the Beast.” Features a 1 carat rose cut center diamond and a 0.37 carat band.)

For the woman who dreams of a fairytale wedding, she can now have the ring to match!

Kirstie Kelly, arguably best known for her couture designer collection of Disney-inspired wedding gowns, has upped her game and created a line of six diamond engagement rings and coordinating wedding bands inspired by famed Disney princesses.

The line, branded “Kirstie Kelly for Disney by Mouawad,” will be sold at various retailers across the U.S. as well as Mouawad’s website.

Six Disney Princesses will be represented by these rings, including Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Princess Jasmine, Ariel and Belle.

Retailing from $1,200-6,000, these fairytale rings certainly come at a price – but isn’t every “princess” worth it?

Disney entering the bridal jewelry market is an interesting way to extend their brand. Is this move because the wedding industry is generally thought of as being recession-proof? Guess time will tell. But let’s not get all Goofy about this!!!

A Disney ring, I sort of like the idea od having a princess ring. Would like my ring to be a bit more unique. Dont like the idea of thousands of people having same ring as me.

One of my cousins got married last year and I was a bridesmaid in her wedding. About 2 weeks before the wedding the bride calls me up to ask me if I would mind not wearing my engagement ring at her wedding since it would distract people from looking at her ring, and she really didn’t want anyone in the bridal party sporting jewelry bigger than hers. Can anyone beat that bridezilla request?? — Alexis
