Plan Your Wedding With The Knot’s Wedding Budgeter!

Posted by: Denise In: Budget Advice

Planning your wedding budget requires dedication, compromise and figuring out exactly what you need for your big day – and how much you can afford to spend!

I found this incredibly handy tool from TheKnot.com that will help you work out your wedding budget in depth. Called The Wedding Budgeter, this tool will provide estimates of how much various aspects of your wedding will cost based on the amount you are able to spend; how many guests will be attending and how many people will be in the bridal party.

This tool is fully customizable, and allows you to input your own dollar amounts into what you’ll be spending money on. Get a breakdown of everything from the ceremony site to the reception (even wedding gifts!) so you can see exactly how much you can spend on each category. If there’s a category listed that doesn’t apply to you, simply uncheck the box – your wedding budget will automatically be updated to reflect your changes, and that money will be allocated elsewhere. Simple!

If you don’t have a head for numbers or would simply like a tool that can make budgeting for your wedding quick and easy, The Knot’s wedding budgeter has you covered.

One of my cousins got married last year and I was a bridesmaid in her wedding. About 2 weeks before the wedding the bride calls me up to ask me if I would mind not wearing my engagement ring at her wedding since it would distract people from looking at her ring, and she really didn’t want anyone in the bridal party sporting jewelry bigger than hers. Can anyone beat that bridezilla request?? — Alexis
