Modern, chic, and romantic — This wedding looks like it should grace the cover of every bridal magazine out there. The bride is super stylish (as are her bridesmaids), and the empty venue space allowed the couple to get creative and build their perfect matrimonial fantasy. And what an unbelievable dream-come-true creation it was! The pale pink and white tones are heavenly, and the dessert table looks positively scrumptious. Thank you,, for sharing the loveliness in !
From… Kitty and Don wanted a downtown wedding that was unique, urban and sophisticated, but at the same time elegant, romantic and chic. Inspiration for this event started with a gold-toned beaded gown from the Givenchy Haute Couture FW2011 line. We took details from the color, beading, shimmer and feminine silhouette as the inspiration for the decor and theme of the wedding. The venue was a large, converted factory space in the design district neighborhood of West Queen West in Toronto. A former glass factory, this venue provided a large empty space with unique features that allowed us unlimited design options. To soften the space, we used a chandelier flocked sheer fabric to drape several walls. The table settings, flowers, stationery, decor and custom dance floor were also designed to the theme. The bride and groom also incorporated a traditional Chinese tea ceremony prior to the cocktail reception. They are also big foodies, so the menu was important that night. Only the best was served, and the meal featured black cod and lamb.
